Easter in Holland - Friday

On April 14 we headed north to Holland a.k.a The Netherlands. Ted found a bed and breakfast about 45 minutes south of Amsterdam. It was a milk farm located in the middle of the Alblasserwaard en Vijfheerenlanden(no that is not a typo, there are that many repeating letters...) It was a great location for what we wanted to do.

On Friday we ventured into Amsterdam for the day. Our first stop was the Van Gogh Museum. For those of you who don't know me, I am not very appreciative of the fine arts. I get board really fast. Before we left I was talking to our travel friends, the Meiworms, about how they keep Brennen (6 years old) entertained in museums. They let Brennen pick some post cards of pictures he wants to find in the museum. Then it becomes a treasure find for him as the day progresses. Well, I thought that it would be the perfect activity to keep me entertained in the museum. AND it worked!

After the museum we walked around Amsterdam. What a neat city! Ted and I talked about the things we would do before Noah and the things we do now...kinda funny!
